Church History:

Magnolia Bible Church began when a group of believers, who had a vision for planting a Bible church in Magnolia, Texas, met with Dr. Joe Wall of Cypress Bible Church and Jack Arrington of Tomball Bible Church to discuss the possibility of planting a Bible church in the area. With direction from Arrington and teaching by Glen Darby of Faith Community Church, the group held a Bible study in the home of Jeff and Dana Tanis for the next several months. Then, in December of 2000, the Greater Houston Bible Church Association, of which Joe Wall and Jack Arrington were board members, recommended Scot Wall to lead the group. Scot began teaching the weekly Bible study and as the group began to grow the potential for a church plant became evident. Jeff Tanis, Carl Cody (Elder from Cypress Bible Church) and Scot Wall began looking for a larger place to meet. The West Montgomery County Community Development Center in Magnolia had just been built and was available for use on Sunday mornings. The body of believers moved to the Community Center and began meeting Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM on May 6th 2001.

Ten years later, Magnolia Bible Church is still blessed by the leadership of Scot Wall, our senior pastor. David Killy was brought on as our Student Pastor in the Fall of 2003. We are currently in the process of building our new church home on Nichols Sawmill Road in Magnolia, TX which we anticipate completing in the Fall of 2011.
