Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry is currently led by Bob Peretti.

The purpose of Men's Ministry is to engage men in Bible Study, Recreation and fellowship with other men, and also fun outings that include their kids.

The Men's Fellowship Breakfast meets every other Friday and is a fellowship time with no formal Bible study. We have a Men's Bible Study which meets every other Thursday. The men's Bible study meets at the Directions facility which is next to Pesquera's Boat Restaurant on FM 249 across the street from the Pinehurst Post office. We schedule our annual Men's Retreat in the fall and is held Friday evening, through Sunday morning at Forest Glen Camp in New Waverley. We feature a special speaker, music and various sports competitions. Topics emphasized in past retreats have focused on our Ministry Target Areas (MTA) and our role as Dads. The retreat setting provides a great opportunity for men to get away from the demands of their regular routine, get to know other men in the church and also talk about issues that are common to men in their Christian walk.

We also have other events throughout the year, usually held on Saturdays, such as fishing trips and beach parties that we encourage men to include their children. This gives dad's another chance to spend fun time with their kids.

Our men's ministry continues to expand as more men become involved. If you have a particular outreach you would like to be involved in such as home repair for the needy, auto repair for single moms, or a motorcycle club, just to name a few, please contact me.
